About

The isolated island of Cuyo Island is located in a remote part of the Sulu Sea, almost equidistant between Puerto Princesa, Iloilo, and Boracay.  Cuyo is the principal island in a group known as the Cuyo Islands. Also forming part of the Cuyo Islands are the exclusive Amanpulo Island Resort, and its neighbour the beautiful but remote Manamoc island.

Cuyo is renowned for its homegrown cashews, abundant seafood and excellent kiteboarding and windsurfing conditions.  Although widely recognised as one of the best kiteboarding spots in Asia, Cuyo still receives relatively few visitors.  As such, the tourist infrastructure is limited, and the island still retains its uniquely peaceful and authentic, community-centric charm.
